《Fade to Silence》是單人/合作型生存冒險遊戲，
在其後世界末日的設定裡，整個世界被凍結成了一個永恆的冬天，冰和雪無情地蔓延每一寸地面，自然已經腐化。可怕的生物從噩夢中醒來，並漫遊在冰凍的荒原上。
作為玩家，你將成為艾什——一個天生卻飽受折磨的領導者。在這個角色裡，你將探索一個後世界末日下的冰凍荒原，收集必要的資源，建立生存避難所。隨著資源的減少，諸如昇級裝備和收集材料等簡單的任務將很快需要進行一場探險來發現必要的物品。在尋找生存材料的過程中，你必須行走在一片廣闊的土地上，在這裡，你可能會遇到從噩夢中出現的怪物和更大的敵人：無情的冬天。儘管冰凍的溫度持續影響著艾什，但最致命的還是暴風雪。如果不小心碰到，將需要全部的技能、決心和運氣才能夠生存下來。
